Unite 714 Prayer Initiative

Dear Believers Family, we want to thank you for being a part of the UNITE714 Prayer Initiative.
As Jesus explains in Matthew 18:19-20 we know that there is power when we come together and unite in prayer. While we may have not be able to gather in-person, we are grateful that our prayers have been joined together through the Holy Spirit.
Coming into July, we will conclude the Unite714 Initiative; however, we encourage you to stay in rhythms of prayer.
A great way we can continue to unite in prayer is through Lectio 365 app. If you have yet to access Lectio 365, it can be downloaded for daily prayer focus and interaction. Through this method, we will also be joining others all around the world in prayer.
Many blessings,
Hailey Sides on behalf of BC Prays
What an unprecedented time in history that we are finding ourselves living out. However, we know that our God is a mighty fortress and he has called his Church to rise, especially in prayer as we know that prayer changes things. Your prayers have impact! In a time of seeming isolation and devastation we may feel helpless but the truth is we can still play a vital role and reach around the world by praying in unity with one another.
This is our moment to act and be intentional in stewarding this opportunity of prayer. Currently, there is an increase of prayer all around the world as His people are coming together and it is catalyzing a new movement. God is asking us to partner and partake of His amazing work andwe are inviting our community to respond to that call and come together with one heart and one voice in a prayer initiative called Unite714. The movement is based upon the scripture we find in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humbel themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”
The model is REALLY SIMPLE. Pause to pray each day at 7:14am and 7:14 pm in unison with each other.
Each week we will have two prayer topics: local and global.
Week of June 28 - July 4
Week of June 21 - 27
Local Initiative: Father, please fill our hearts and our homes with your peace. Make us a non-anxious presence in the world.
Isaiah 26:3 New International Version (NIV) “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.”
Global Initiative: In a time of unprecedented worldwide shaking, we thank you, Lord, for placing us in a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Fill us with faith, love, joy, and peace. As You freshly empower us with Your Holy Spirit, anoint us to become ambassadors of reconciliation. Lord, we reject panic and receive Your peace. Empower us to be Your witnesses in our cities and nations.
Week of June 14 - 20
Week of June 7 - 13
Local: Father gives us eyes to see those around us who may be hurting and brokenhearted. Show us ways that we can be an expression of your love, healing and compassion.
Luke 4:18-“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
Jeremiah 30:17 – “‘But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD.”
Revelation 22:1-2 – “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations [ethnic groups].”
Week of May 31 - June 6
Week of May 24 - 30
Week of May 17 - 23
Local: Pray that God would open our spiritual ears to hear what He is speaking to us and grow our ability to hear Him.
1 Samuel 3:7-10
Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
Global: Pray for a CONTINUED TURNING HEARTS TO THE LORD; that as we repent and turn our hearts to the HIM, we would experience the promise of His deliverance, reconciliation and protection in our land. Pray through Psalm 91 for ourselves and others.
Psalm 91
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling—even the LORD, who is my refuge—then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.“Because he loves me,“ says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.’” —NIV
Week of May 10 - 16
Local: This week our focus locally will be our Mothers. Let’s gift our Mothers with our prayers and sow into them with blessing of prayer in their Holy work.
Global: Our global focus we will be praying into our initiative of scripture on 2 Chronicles 7:14 – for the healing of our land through the people of God. Pray that the church at large will truly humble and consecrate ourselves, repent and turn from any ways that are not God’s highest purposes for us and PRAY for the healing of our land!
